Our Certification Process:
Our classes are lead by our certified and highly-experienced instructors. We teach the Basic Life Support course from the American Heart Association, which includes adult CPR, child/infant CPR, and automatic external defibrillator (AED) use. All of our classes are approximately four hours long, and you will take the certification exam at the end of the session. Your certification card will be sent to you via email shortly afterwards.

Our Instructors:
All of our instructors are certified through the American Heart Association.
ADIE DAVIES, CHAIR (SHE/HER)
For the last three years, Cardiac on Campus has connected me with a network of passionate individuals who are dedicated to promoting and protecting cardiac health. While I love everything that this club stands for, I am especially proud of the work that we do to teach vital CPR skills to members of our community and cannot wait to see what our instructors will accomplish this year. To tell you a few things about myself: I will be graduating with a B.S. in Nursing and a Global Health certificate in the fall, and I like to spend as much time as possible being active outside–either biking, rock climbing, or running (see you at the Red Tutu Trot!).

LAURA KASTANEK (SHE/HER)
Hello everyone! My name is Laura Kastanek and I'm a junior majoring in Nursing! I'm originally from a super small town in northern Wisconsin called Amery. Moving to Madison, I was excited to find such a tight-knit group to join in this bigger city. It has been so rewarding spreading awareness about heart health, and I look forward to continuing this year with Cardiac on Campus!
